Who we are

The Capital International group of companies is an independent asset management, investment platform and corporate banking provider headquartered in the Isle of Man with additional offices in South Africa and Jersey. Founded in 1996, the Group employs over 240 people and has approximately US$5 billion in Assets under Administration. 

Capital International Limited is part of the Capital International group of companies and is a member of the London Stock Exchange.  

As its relationships with trust and corporate service providers have grown, Capital International has developed a deep understanding and practical experience of complex planning structures across jurisdictions for multi-generational and institutional clients. 

Within Capital International’s asset management business, our focus is on providing dependable discretionary management solutions. We specialise in serving financial intermediaries, trustees and corporate service providers. 

We understand the changing and challenging regulatory and operational issues that trustees are managing and are aware that the provision of services to trustees with clients from emerging markets has become more difficult.

Our asset management services are designed to simplify and de-risk investment processes giving trustees more time to focus on their wider fiduciary responsibilities. 

As a family-owned company, we understand the dynamics of family-led firms and are ideally placed to support other single and multi-family offices. Often this may be through the provision of our in-house equity analysis, the formation or shaping of asset allocation strategies or through enabling direct access to markets. 

Being headquartered in the Isle of Man, we benefit from a stable political environment and are part of a strong wider financial services ecosystem. 

Asset management services are also provided through our Jersey business, Capital International (Jersey) Limited.

What we do

Whether the client is seeking capital preservation, growth or income, we can provide a portfolio to suit a trustee's Investment Policy Statement using our state-of-the-art profiling tool to analyse risk tolerance and investment objectives over specified investment horizons. 

Our multi-currency investment strategies include high conviction and focused direct equity and bond portfolios, model portfolios of collective investments and risk-rated multi-asset strategies. We also advise the appointed adviser to the Martello Global Equity Fund.  

Our experienced investment team has an excellent long-term performance track record of managing private client and institutional portfolios successfully for over 25 years through bull and bear markets. Importantly, fiduciary professionals and private clients benefit from direct access to our active investment decision makers.
