We are a people-led business, with offices across the UK supported by an award-winning investment team based in London. Our parent company Sanlam Limited has been providing solutions to private clients, families, charities and institutions within investment management, risk management, capital markets, finance and insurance for over 100 years. Sanlam is the largest non-banking financial services group in Africa, has been listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange since 1998 and oversees some $65 billion AUM.


Sanlam provides integrated wealth management solutions for high net worth individuals and their families, trusts, charities and corporates. We deliver a comprehensive suite of financial services including domestic and offshore investment portfolios, stockbroking, investment advisory services, and financial planning. In today's uncertain environment, an individual's financial needs and priorities may be under almost constant review; our clients tell us they need bespoke services and personal attention. Clients have direct access to their bespoke investment manager who is the individual responsible for constructing, managing and transacting on the portfolio and can get in touch with them as regularly as they wish. We know there are few acts of financial faith greater than entrusting your wealth to another; we hold that responsibility at the forefront of our minds. We aim to be your partners in building and preserving the assets you bring to us.

What we do

We believe in active management both in terms of asset allocation decisions but also from a security and fund selection perspective. It is critical that asset allocation is integrated with stock selection so that each stage of the investment process works in harmony.


Our investment process is underpinned by the strength and depth of our research capability. Across the business we have 30 investment professionals dedicated purely to conducting research and analysing the best ideas, with an average of 10 years' experience between them. They look across the asset classes to find the most attractive opportunities in equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Client can access our investment expertise through our funds, model portfolio service or bespoke discretionary management. We believe the following qualities differentiate our offering:

Our segregated portfolios are multi-asset in nature, catering to private clients, trustees and charities' varied objectives and risk appetites. Our focus is on direct investment, which leverages our strong internal research capability and eliminates fees paid by to third-party fund managers, providing the most cost effective solution to clients. We have established five strategic asset allocations which form the central reference points from which portfolios are managed on a discretionary basis
